Together with Roman Nadein, he founded Rocket Tech in 2011 and has taken the company from a website and mobile app studio to a fintech vendor working with banks in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. From day one, he has been responsible for what the company’s products turn out to be: how they look, what they promise the client and what value they actually create.

- Product line: what the company builds, for whom and in what form it brings it to market.
- Marketing and discovery: research, CX and UX design, solution packaging.

- Automating the company’s internal processes with AI.
Rocket Tech is built as an engineering and product company, led by engineering and product. Both founders are still hands-on. Oleg leads product and marketing for Ready Bank, the line of banking automation solutions, and personally builds the industry media outlet Fintechstan and the company’s internal AI tools. The quality bar stays the same: a product should not just solve the task but create added value for the client.

Background
Over 20 years in digital products: he built his first websites at 16 and was taking commissions from 18. In Rocket Tech’s early years, he was responsible for the design and product logic of client websites and mobile apps, taught his own web design course and has spoken at industry conferences since 2012. As the company grew from an agency into a fintech partner, his focus shifted to strategy, products and marketing.
In parallel, he founded the Setochka and Holy Media agencies and led them as creative director. At the pharmacy marketplace Aurma, he was a co-founder and the first product manager: he came up with the name, positioning and branding, and was responsible for the design of the website and mobile app. Setochka was sold, and he exited the other projects to focus on Rocket Tech.
What I believe
“Services will become simpler for users and more complex technically. This is TRIZ logic, and it has already played out with cars: driving an electric car is easier than driving one with a combustion engine, while engineering it is harder. Banking products will follow the same path: fewer screens and actions for the client, more intelligence under the hood.
When anyone can write code, including with AI, the advantage shifts. The winner is whoever can find real pain and demand, articulate clear value, package it into an offer and turn it into a quality product. For banks, this is the main point of competition: features get copied in months, user experience does not.”
