The company name has two origins. The first comes from Robert Heinlein’s novel “Glory Road”: the hero dreamed of a prestigious job with “some rocket firm”. In 2011, this idea inspired us to create a company we would want to work for.
The second comes from our first projects. Our drive to understand a task in depth sometimes surprised clients: “It’s not like you’re building rockets.”
As it turned out, we are. Over time, this approach became the foundation of Rocket Tech’s product culture.
Releasing a product is not enough. It has to be integrated into the bank’s infrastructure, meet security and regulatory requirements, run on working processes and deliver business metrics.

We build solutions that can grow: onboard new users, enter new markets and take on new tasks. We automate repetitive processes so that growth never means starting from scratch.
A good product should not have a bad interface. That is why we pay close attention to how a product looks and interacts with its users.
Engineers, designers, product managers and executives see a task differently. We bring these perspectives together and test our assumptions against facts and with real users. This helps us see the whole picture and notice early where an idea diverges from reality.
In R&D, we set aside time for experiments: engineers, designers, product managers and executives explore new technologies and build products on them. We test ideas in-house first, then apply what we learn in client projects.
