AI-driven processes, UX lab, and growth in Central Asian markets. Rocket Tech's year in review

Sharing insights on AI process optimization and discussing projects that influenced the development of Central Asian fintech ecosystems in 2025

2025 was a year of developing international presence and strengthening positions in Central Asia for Rocket Tech. We are actively growing in Uzbekistan, strengthening our expertise in building fintech products, and continuing to develop our proprietary Ready Bank solution.

Concurrently, we are launching new divisions—a UX lab, research support services, and tools for AI-accelerated development.

Also in 2025, we heavily invested in events and PR activities, and in 2026 we plan to expand partnerships in this area.

And now for more details:

Marketing and PR

In 2025, we focused on process automation, organized specialized events, and strengthened our presence in industry communities.

Accelerated event guest registration and notification 5x using a Telegram event bot

As the number and scale of events grew, it became obvious that manual processes could no longer handle the load. Guest registration, reminders, access control, post-communication—all this required the involvement of several people, created queues at the venue, and increased the likelihood of errors.

In 2025, we implemented a full-cycle event bot that covered the entire guest journey: from registration to receiving materials after the event. The bot automatically collects participant data, sends trigger reminders, generates personalized QR codes for entry, ensures fast check-in at the venue, and sends out personalized certificates and materials after the event.

The bot became a single point of entry and communication at events—after registration, it offers to join the event group to stay updated on news. After the event, this group can be used for brand communications with an already loyal community.
The bot became a single point of entry and communication at events—after registration, it offers to join the event group to stay updated on news. After the event, this group can be used for brand communications with an already loyal community.

As a result, the speed of guest registration at the venue increased fivefold due to QR scanning instead of manual searches in lists. Post-communication became fully automatic and no longer required manual labor from the team. This allowed us to focus on the substantive part of the events and the quality of interaction with the audience, rather than on operational details.

Streamlined marketing content production using an AI agent in a Telegram bot

Concurrently, we faced another typical problem of a growing company—the need to regularly publish content without a proportional increase in staff. The sources of information were multiplying: internal expertise, presentations, team notes, links, documents, voice comments. It became difficult to manually turn this disparate stream into unified, stylistically consistent content.

The solution was our own AI agent with a pre-configured Tone of Voice. It takes raw data in any format as input and turns it into ready-made posts, news, and announcements that match the adopted communication style.

Using this bot, you can quickly create text for a vacancy, news, announcement, report, or a long read for social networks. We use it both in our own channels and in client projects.

This allowed us to standardize the presentation across all channels and multiply the speed of content production without losing quality. Content ceased to depend on a specific author and became a reproducible process that scales with the business.

Conceived and launched the Halyk Tech Sprints series of technology meetups jointly with Halyk Bank

In 2025, Rocket Events implemented a series of 7 Halyk Tech Sprints meetups for Halyk Bank. The program covered major technological areas:

  • Halyk Dev Meetup,
  • Highload Fintech,
  • Digital Payments Meetup,
  • DBA Meetup,
  • Big Data Meetup,
  • BaaS Ecosystems Meetup
  • AI Meetup.
Participants only see the speaker with a presentation on stage, but for this to happen, it was necessary to negotiate with venues, set up light and sound, hire a host, coordinate catering, create a presentation template in a unified style, and think through the registration and communication system between meetups.
Participants only see the speaker with a presentation on stage, but for this to happen, it was necessary to negotiate with venues, set up light and sound, hire a host, coordinate catering, create a presentation template in a unified style, and think through the registration and communication system between meetups.

The series garnered consistently high interest and demonstrated good retention rates for technical meetups:

  • on average, 350–400 people expressed a desire to participate at each stage;
  • attendance ranged from 75 to 245 people, with the meetups gathering almost 1,000 actual visits in total;
  • NPS among those who completed the survey approached 100%.

For engagement, together with the Halyk Bank team, we developed a mechanic with a participant passport: each guest received a physical passport with seven zones for stamps, which could only be collected by attending the meetups in the series. A raffle was held at the final AI Meetup:

  • a MacBook Air for participants who collected 7 stamps,
  • 3 pairs of AirPods for those who collected 5–6 stamps,
  • 4 smart speakers for 3–4 stamps.
We assumed that by the last meetup, most participants would have 3-4 stamps in their passport. However, among the raffle participants, 67% had all 7 stamps—this is an excellent retention indicator for technical events.

The serial approach with additional motivation created a cumulative effect: the audience returned, participated regularly, and became more deeply involved from meetup to meetup. For Halyk Bank, the series became not just a set of events, but a working tool for building a loyal technological community, strengthening the employer brand, and developing expertise within the ecosystem.

Leading business media wrote about Rocket Tech in 2025

Throughout the year, Rocket Tech's projects, research, and expert initiatives regularly became the subject of publications in specialized and business media. In total, 15 articles were published in leading industry media over the year—here are the most interesting ones:

Launched AI/UX Lab

We established the regular release of client research, launched a laboratory, and are preparing several large-scale industry audits that will be released in early 2026.

In 2025, Rocket Tech launched an AI/UX laboratory—a place where companies can test digital products on real users and make decisions based not on guesswork, but on the behavior of real clients.

The laboratory includes a closed research area where a moderator works with respondents, and an observation room from where the team monitors the process through a Gesell mirror or video broadcast. This configuration allows capturing people's natural reactions and identifying real barriers in interfaces.

Moderator and respondent during the research process—special equipment tracks the user's gaze and micro-expressions, a camera broadcasts for remote observation, and the moderator reads the environment and takes their own notes.

Full research cycles take place in the laboratory: formulating hypotheses, conducting sessions, collecting data, analytics, and preparing reports. As a result, companies receive clear conclusions about user behavior and recommendations that directly affect conversions, the quality of scenarios, and the speed of product decision-making.

In 2025, a pilot launch of the laboratory took place at the MOST IT Hub. During the presentation, the laboratory's capabilities were demonstrated to the Akim of Almaty, Darkhan Satybaldy, which became an important step for forming the city's innovation ecosystem and developing the practice of researching digital services in the region.

The laboratory is open for cooperation: companies can conduct custom UX research for their product tasks in it. In addition, we help launch research infrastructure within companies—with methodological and organizational support for a continuous research cycle.

Started forming a business landscape map and a library of research patterns to accelerate Discovery projects

In 2025, we transitioned from one-off research for specific requests to regular market data collection. Research became a repeatable process: we constantly update information, supplement it with new cross-sections, and return to already studied segments to record changes and the emergence of new patterns.

As part of this work, we are consistently compiling competitive, consumer, and technological landscapes. Data from product tests, desk research, and qualitative research are consolidated into a single business landscape map that shows how the market is structured now: what solutions exist, what user scenarios dominate, where new approaches and technologies are emerging.

Such a map is used as a working tool in Discovery projects. It allows quickly immersing in the context, comparing hypotheses with already collected data, and seeing recurring scenarios and typical product errors on the market. Instead of starting from scratch, teams rely on accumulated research material.

Concurrently, we started forming a library of research patterns: typical hypotheses, research questions, testing formats, and metrics that have already been applied in different projects and markets. This reduces the time for preparing research and helps move faster from questions to testable hypotheses.

In total, we conducted 43 research studies in 2025:

  • 20 product tests
  • 12 desk research studies
  • 8 qualitative research studies
  • 3 expert audits
Thanks to the regular work of the laboratory, we streamlined research—we assembled a team of industry experts to generate hypotheses, a database of channels for finding respondents, and a pool of field experts in Central Asian countries to conduct in-depth interviews and study markets from the inside.

Ready Bank and the technology block

In 2025, we concluded major deals and partnerships in Central Asian markets, and continued to develop our modular solution for fintech digital transformation.

Installed and implemented the banking operational CRM at Davr Bank

In 2025, we implemented the oCRM module from Ready Bank at the Uzbekistan-based Davr Bank. The project was a response to a typical problem for banks in the region: disparate client systems and limited data transparency.

Ready Bank was originally developed for banking processes and does not require adapting a universal product to industry specifics. The solution is built on an open-source architecture with a focus on security, fault tolerance, and scalability, and at the same time does not contain vendor lock-in.

The implementation took 6 months and included process audit, system adaptation, integration, and launch. The project also included integration with Asterisk telephony, which allowed consolidating client communications in one system and reducing operational costs.

As a result, Davr Bank replaced several disparate solutions with a single CRM, accelerated front-office operations, and laid the foundation for further automation and scaling.

Ready Bank is a ready-made modular solution for the digital transformation of banking. It can completely replace outdated services or you can select only specific modules, for example: CRM, a credit pipeline, or an intuitive system for payments and transfers.

Participating in several major deals with leading players in the Central Asian banking market

In 2025, we continued to expand our presence in Central Asia—not only through individual projects but also through participation in initiatives that influence the development of fintech markets at the country and ecosystem levels.

Uzbekistan: a national-scale fintech project

In Uzbekistan, we are working on a national-level fintech project in partnership with several state institutions. The project is under NDA, so we are not disclosing details yet.

As part of this work, Rocket Tech is participating in the creation of digital financial solutions designed for the scale of the country: taking into account regulatory requirements, architectural resilience, and potential load on the infrastructure. This is an experience of working not with a single product, but with a system that must be ready for mass use and long-term development.

Turkmenistan: market entry and formation of future projects

In 2025, the Rocket Tech team visited Turkmenistan and took part in an industry conference organized by Colvir. During the event, we presented Ready Bank and talked about approaches to creating modern fintech products—from banking platforms to user-facing digital services.

Following the trip, we moved to the stage of deep discussion of potential projects. Now it is a dialogue about possible formats of cooperation and the launch of solutions adapted to the local market and its specifics.

Projects and strategic partnerships

Concurrently with entering new markets, we strengthened partnership and project activities in the region.

In 2025, Rocket Tech agreed on a strategic partnership with Colvir—one of the key players in the banking solutions market. Colvir covers the backend part and works with banking infrastructure, while Rocket Tech acts as a partner for frontend solutions: mobile applications, CRM systems, and user digital interfaces. As part of this cooperation, we also took part in the Colvir conference in Turkey.

In Uzbekistan, we partnered with Woox—a developer of fintech solutions for the local market. As part of this partnership, we are jointly developing a number of fintech products, combining Woox's deep understanding of regional specifics with our expertise in creating user-facing digital solutions.

This partnership format allows launching and developing products faster in new markets, relying on already formed ecosystems and practical experience working with the region's banking sector.

In total, we worked on 36 projects in 2025. Here are some of them:

  • Forte Bank — development of a platform for collateral real estate valuation. We participated in the refinement and development of a digital tool that is used in banking decision-making processes and reduces operational load by automating valuation and data handling.
  • Dostyk Plaza — development of a mobile application for one of the largest shopping centers. The application became a single digital channel for interaction with visitors: navigation, service functions, and communication with the audience in a mobile format.
  • RG Brands — support and development of a mobile application for a large FMCG company. As part of the project, we worked on stability, functionality development, and improving the user experience for a wide audience.

Internal transformation

In 2025, we did a lot of under-the-hood work to improve processes, delivery quality, and transparency within the company.

Increased the speed and quality of presale estimates by 40% using an AI agent for scoring incoming projects

Preliminary estimation of incoming requests required the involvement of senior developers and architects, took hours, and directly competed with their main project workload.

In 2025, we implemented an AI agent to automate presales. It analyzes inputs from the client, decomposes the idea into tasks, forms a preliminary feature list, selects the team composition, and calculates the estimated project budget.

In addition to project estimation, we use AI agents for scoring clients and tenders—artificial intelligence helps structure information for more effective meetings and compile project estimate documentation.
In addition to project estimation, we use AI agents for scoring clients and tenders—artificial intelligence helps structure information for more effective meetings and compile project estimate documentation.

This allowed increasing the volume and quality of presale estimates by 40%. Managers receive technically sound calculations in minutes, not days, and key technical specialists are involved selectively—already at the stage of clarification and validation, rather than the initial calculation.

Reduced corporate information search from 10 minutes to seconds using a RAG-based Wiki bot in Telegram

As the team and the number of projects grew, it became obvious that knowledge within the company was dispersed: regulations, contacts, policies, and project practices were stored in different systems and formats. This increased the time spent searching for information, complicated onboarding, and regularly distracted employees from each other with typical questions.

In response to this, an intelligent RAG-based Wiki bot was implemented, integrated into Telegram and the corporate intranet. The bot provides access to all internal documents in a dialogue format—employees formulate a question in familiar language and receive a relevant, up-to-date answer with a link to the original source.

In addition to data from the intranet, the bot integrates templates for all typical documents, such as vacation requests and accounting documents, which the bot sends directly in a message.

As a result, the average information search time was reduced from 10–15 minutes with manual search to a few seconds. Onboarding became more structured, and the load on colleagues and the HR team decreased due to the disappearance of repetitive questions.

Bottom line. Rocket Tech 2026

In 2026, we will continue to develop and strengthen all the directions laid down this year. We will hold more specialized events and strengthen work with professional communities, and continue to publish research that helps the market better understand users, products, and technological trends.

A separate focus is the further expansion of our presence in Central Asian countries. We plan to deepen partnerships, launch new projects, and work with products designed for the scale and long-term development of regional fintech ecosystems.

Concurrently, we will continue to develop the AI direction and apply it in fintech projects—from accelerating product development and research to creating intelligent digital services that solve real business problems.
