Beeline Kazakhstan is developing mobile gaming as part of its ecosystem. The operator has been running BeePlay league tournaments in Garena Free Fire since 2020: the first season took place on a third-party platform, with matches streamed on YouTube (Kursiv).
Beeplay is the league’s own platform: events, streams, rankings, community and shop in one place.
Task
Design and build a platform where players sign up and take part in league events, watch and host streams, while Beeline manages tournaments, content and the community.
What the platform includes
- Gamified sign-up — entering the platform as part of the game.
- Streaming — player broadcasts with donations and interactive features.
- Online shop.
- Admin panel with full rights (god mode) — to manage the entire platform.
Events and tournaments
The platform announces league events — battles, fast cups, league games. Unregistered players see the announcement in the news block. Registered players get a personal message when registration opens and an SMS 15 minutes before the start. Once a team or participant is registered, they can take part in the event.
Tournaments are shown as colour-coded cards arranged in tabs: ongoing, upcoming and completed. Each tournament card shows the participant list, results and the team’s participation status.
Ranking, coins and leaderboard
Participants compete, earning ranking points and coins. Coins are spent on entry to global championships and on donations. The same model was planned to support a paid subscription and cash donations between players and viewers.
The leaderboard features gamer dashboards: player achievements as infographics, team and guild rankings.
Streams and interaction
During a stream, viewers send the streamer donations and messages or order interactive actions — for example, a red zone or an in-game event.
Profile and teams
A player’s profile stores the statistics of their activity on the platform: tournaments, wins, awards. Team admins manage the roster, invitations and join requests in a full-featured interface.
Technologies
- Front-end: HTML, CSS, Nuxt 2, Axios, SockJS, Node.js.
- Back-end: Jmix (jmix-data, jmix-security, jmix-ui), Docker, Java 17, Spring Boot.
- Integrations: Google, VK, Facebook, Discord, Sendpulse and smsc.
Result
The BeePlay league now has its own platform: events, streams, rankings, teams and a shop in one place, convenient management for team admins and full control over the platform for Beeline.
